Jake Levine is a folk singer from New Jersey. Raised on Bob Dylan and Neil Young, Jake has always had a love for the musical characters of the 1950's and 60's. Coming from a town consumed by mainstream America, Jake was glad to find an oasis of creativity and mental/social freedom at SUNY Purchase College from 2012-2015. In late January of 2014, Jake put together a period piece called The Howler Weary (which never took off due to bouts of depression). After touring on their album, Travel On, in venues on the Lower East Side and in Asbury Park, Jake was sitting on an albums worth of folk songs. His debut album, In Country Sleep, was released in mid January of 2017. Living in Brooklyn, sights are set on the city skyline with another album in the works.
